My Hatteras Morning...

Good Morning and Welcome to this wonderful Thursday 😊

So, why is it a wonderful Thursday, for no other reason than it’s a brand-new day, with new possibilities. This morning I was a little anxious as I have eleven wonderful ladies arriving at the inn today, for my first (hopefully of many😉 ) women’s retreat here in Hatteras.

I want to make sure that the women have the absolute best possible experience whilst here for the next few days. And, as I mentioned yesterday, I can get caught up in the details, which I think are important…

It’s super easy for anxiety to creep in when you have invested so much into a dream you’ve had - this particular dream was to have our own place that was big enough to accommodate retreats, a place where people could stay in comfort for a few days, and find what they need….whether it be inspiration, support, friendship, learning a new skill, finding their confidence, to heal, to grow, to meet new people…or just to have some well-earned rest and relaxation.

So yes, I was feeling a tad anxious this morning…..but, I opened an e-mail that I received from someone special, who had recently read my blog, and had sent an absolutely wonderful message. Our paths had crossed some years ago, and we hadn’t been in contact for some time, so it was completely out of the blue to hear from her.

This message was so beautiful (yes it did bring tears to my eyes) and provided me just the inspiration I needed to feel super confident again. It is amazing how one message can make all the difference to how you feel…..and I’m so grateful to the person who sent it, I’m truly blessed to have crossed paths with you.

It is with this in mind that I ask you to consider sending a positive message to someone you haven’t contacted in a while – it can be a simple “Hello, Just wanted to wish you a blessed day”….and, if you are fortunate enough to be in receipt of a kind message today….feel super grateful that someone took time in their day to reach out to you💗

Until next time…

Take care, Stay Safe and please, think about sending that message or picking up the phone and letting someone know you care.

Hugs,

Pam

PS If the person that sent me my message this morning….Thank You again – you truly made a difference to my day 🥰
